I was given Schumbergkia a couple of years ago. It gets what looks like the beginning of a flower spike, then just stops developing. I live in the Tampa Bay area near the gulf. Is this area not warm enough for this orchid to flower? It came from Homestead, Fl and the main plant was in full bloom when the baby was given to me.
