Roses in a Cottage GardenRoses in a Cottage Garden
February 12, 2013

I love my roses, but I have never cared for the look of any formal type of garden, not even rose gardens. Instead, I have planted my many roses informally in my garden, which is very much a cottage garden. Take a picture tour with me to see my roses.

When I decided I wanted to add roses to the garden, Carefree Delight was the first rose I bought and planted. I had read that it was totally disease free and bloomed all summer. Correct on both counts. It is extremely healthy and covered in blooms. By now Carefree Delight is very tall and wide and still a favorite of mine. Always will be a favorite.
