Marginal-variegated Beaucarnea which probably reaches a smaller size than the wild type. Discovered in 1996 in the Netherlands and patented in 2004 under the name "Gold Star". Propagated from cuttings, and probably incapable of growing the wide, spreading base of a seed-grown plant. Plant in full sun (shade grown plants stretch and become weak) and avoid temperatures much below freezing.
