This is a cucumber relative that is grown using the same techniques as growing regular cucumbers. The vines can crawl along the ground or be trellised.

Fruit is very early, producing for me within 45 days of direct sowing. Abundant numbers of 1.5" long fruits on smallish vines with attractive dark green foliage. The taste is very similar to cucumbers. This species will only cross-pollinate with others in the species, so you can maintain seed purity pretty easily. It won't cross with any other regular cucumber.
