Luxuriant Sunflower (Helianthus x luxurians)

A hybrid sunflower found where these two species, Helianthus. giganteust (Giant Sunflower) and H. grosseserratus (Sawtooth Sunflower) intersect geographically.
Habitat - sedge meadows, calcareous fens, edges of sandy and non-sandy marches, and moist prairies.
A prairie wildflower in Illinois (northeastern) blooming in late summer into fall for about a month and a half.
