I grew this daylily in zone 10, where it began blooming in May or June, depending on the weather, and almost continually bloomed until Aug./Sept. It was not dormant in zone 10. Instead, it was what I would describe as semi-dormant. It was tough and lovely! One of my favorites. I sent some fans to friends in Charlotte N.C., Montgomery, Al., and San Antonio, Tx. They bloomed for them within 2 - 3 months. They are all delighted with Siloam Classic Double, and so am I.

I have this daylily and it is quite prolific. It has a long bloom time as well.

Since I'm in Florida and rust resistance is of paramount importance here, this one is a star. Never shows a spot of rust at all. Blooms and repeats, gorgeous flowers. This is my absolute favorite daylily. I would have a lot more of them if I hadn't divided and shared so many with friends and family.

I'm new to Daylilies, and 'Siloam Double Classic' is one of my first ever to try. So far I'm only growing daylilies as container plants, but next year I may start a daylily bed with a few of my favorites. This one in particular I've loved since the first double bloom, and although it is said to have a pink bloom, to my eyes it looks more of a salmon-peach.

Bright pink self with green throat. Very resistant to rust.

This was the first plant to bloom in an order of 30+ daylilies. It bloomed nicely when less than 3 months old. There are 3 more buds. It looks like it will be a great performer in zone 7A. The plant is just 8" tall and the scape 12".

This one is increasing quickly in my zone 10 garden. I started with 5 fans and, 1 year later, had 23.

Lovely short double, one of our favorites.

Each year those first few blooms of Siloam Double Classic bloom as singles. After that it seems to get itself together and continues with the rest of the blooms as doubles, which they should be. Whether it's producing single or double blooms, Siloam Double Classic is a lovely daylily.
