With my camera this rose photographs pinker than it is to my naked eye. I see it as a little more coral...similar color to Touch of Class. It produces several waves of show quality blossoms and was best specimen a couple of years ago at a URS show. I consider it to be one of the best in my garden and would plant another one if I had more room.

This is one of the sickliest roses in my garden, with yellowing canes and an acute shortage of blooms. I suspect it's because it's growing on its own roots. I might try replacing it with a grafted Spellbound.

Jackson & Perkins recently started selling this rose under the name 'Mesmerized.' There seems to be no good reason for the change of name, so I suspect it's a deceptive merchandising ploy -- just a way of motivating gardeners to buy the same rose twice.
