An excellent red! Red is not my favorite color, but I love this one. Not the most modern of forms, but good enough. Excellent branching, tall, multiplies very well. Color is very saturated and strong, doesn't fade easily. Just a great red.

I was looking for a taller-growing but not too tall red daylily to plant in a small row in front of some red roses. Hearts Of Fire was my choice. It does very well in my garden. I do love the red color and the fact that it stays in bloom for many weeks.
