Gavin Petit is a beautiful daylily that has stuggled in my Zone 5 hot, humid location. It is growing in full sun, with a light covering of mulch. It has been kept weed-free. My original double fan has increased only to 6 fans in 4 years' time. I have been successful using its pollen, but I have not yet set a pod on this plant. I have enjoyed growing it and it does have a beautiful bloom, but I think it has not been terribly happy to be here.
