Newer Daylilies are based on high-punched crossings wild forms. This variety of Tamberg (breeder of Berlin) contains genes of diploid convertierten Altissima (Stout, AB, Herbertia, vol.9, 1943, p.103). It is thus the basis for high and outcross tet. Hemerocallis.
