As its name suggests, this China rose has blooms that are serrated -- notched and ruffled as though they had been trimmed with pinking shears. They are white at the center, and the outer petals gradually darken from pale pink to a deep pink, almost red. It has the typical habit of a China rose, and it is almost thornless, which is a boon in a bush with arching canes. It grows to 4-5 feet in height and width in my garden and it reblooms reliably.
