This "dwarf" hydrocotyle is quite charming in Wabi Kusa and fish tanks. It has miniature hydrocotyle like leaves usually separated into 3 lobes.
When grown fully submerged it grows upwards, but once pushed down it grows mat-like.
On land or semi-submerged it grows like a mat. It propagates very easily.
sp. "Japan" is a very popular form that has smaller leaves and is more compact.
