Other: Blooms will last 2-3 months depending on care. Good forms have 20-30 flowers on a spike. Generally cuts well.

Other: Lip has a solid red mark on it, except for the alba form (which has a yellow mark instead).

Cymbidium lowianum exhibits a level of self-incompatibility; that is, plants pollinated with their own pollen may not produce seed or will only produce a limited quantity (not a full pod).
