I fell in love with the picture of Woman At The Well on Karol Emmerich's website and bought this daylily. It has been here for years and while it is a pretty daylily, I have never had the stunning blooms I had seen in the picture. A very usual flower with the edges very ruffled, fluted and sometimes flopping over. I do love the color of it.

When this daylily is good, she's really, really good. In cooler weather I do get the spectacular flowers. She does not like hot sun and will lose the ruffling and nice color on those days. Multi-rebloom from 3rd year forward.

Woman at the Well blooms profusely here in zone 4B. She is throwing up a new bloomscape August 9, but the other scapes are done blooming. Love this plant. Planning to move it to a spot where it can be better appreciated.
