Winner of Forcing Award in 1939.

'Fl. 84 mm wide; perianth segments broadly ovate in outline, blunt or slightly truncate, bright lemon yellow, with white mucro, spreading, with margins incurling, overlapping one-third to a half; the inner segments more narrowly ovate, angled at shoulder, with margins wavy; corona cup-shaped, deep red, paling to yellow at base, mouth straight and lightly frilled. Resembles a more intensely colored 'Killigrew'. DaffSeek 12-29-13.
