Registered with APS by Don Hollingsworth in 1998. A 3 foot lactiflora cultivar with anemone type pink flowers. No stamens, purple carpels. Emerging shoots are dark purple, mature foliage is dark green. Wolfe did not register any of his peonies with the APS. However, Hollingworth registered 'Belleville' and Bigger registered 'Apache' and 'May Apple'. Belleville, Illinois (home of Sunstrand Machine Tool) is a small town just east of Rockford.
