Small pure-white flowers with broad rounded petals. Flower size is about half the size of 'Hanso'. This is a mid-season blooming type, showing peak in late August.

Branches upright, growing up to 7-10 feet high in a year under ideal conditions. Sowol was named in memory of the Korean poet, So-wol Kim.
