HVH: "'Belle of the Ball' is the daughter of two exceptionally good parents: 'Saffron' and 'Belle du Jour.' Both parent can occasionally produce 10" flowers, but 'Belle of the Ball' consistently produces giant 8-10" flowers. 'Belle du Jour' contributed the pink color and ruffling, and 'Saffron' intensified the pink to a deep fuchsia color with a strong pink edge. The bush, like that of both parents, is medium sized and pretty. We expect this new variety to show up on our Tried and True list in the near future! Released from HVH in 2012."
