This variety of Pokeberry/Pokeweed has beautiful chartreuse leaves. It can be invasive like the other Pokeweeds so should be monitored carefully in a garden setting. Cut off the fruit before fruit drop.

The word phytolacca roughly translated from Latin means "red dye plant". Both dye and ink can be made from the berries of this plant.
