"Paeonia 'Garden Treasure', (3-SD-Y) Itoh Hybrid Peony, (Hollingsworth, 1984), USDA Hardiness Zone 4, Medium height, semi-double, yellow petals, muted red flares, side buds, lemon fragrance, no support needed, midseason bloomer, Michigan Bloom Month 5c-6.

APS Gold Medal Award 1996. Award of Landscape Merit 2009. My first Itoh hybrid, planted in 2004. Still one of my favorites. An intersection cross of Paeonia lactiflora x P. (Lutea Hybrid) Alice Harding."
