This is the third year I have grown the Sleeping Lady tomato. This year, the harvest has convinced me that I will always grow it.

I have harvested 57 tomatoes from two plants. There are still quite a few green fruits on both plants.

Everyone that has tasted them asks me what they are and then asks if I will start seeds for them next year.

The tomato is a dark red color. The tomato is meaty and the taste is sweet, almost smoky. It does not have the acid bite that many tomatoes have.

I have really enjoyed them this season and will continue to keep this tomato on my "must grow" list.
