    Description from the May 1937 Bulletin of the American Iris Society, p.64:
    Golden Bronze—S[tandards] Pale Wistaria Violet on edges as all the rest is covered with Bradley's Violet. F[alls] Olive Ochre shaded on the edges toward Ecru Olive. Hafts purplish. Blotch Light Cadmium Yellow
