Abelia x grandiflora is a hybrid cross between Abelia chinensis and Abelia uniflora. It is a fast growing semi-evergreen dense shrub, with multiple arching branches. Glossy Abelia bears pinkish-white tubular flowers from summer through fall that attract bees and butterflies. This plant does best in full sun to part shade and is drought tolerant once established.
