The loveliest blue I've seen in a monkshood (amethyst blue).

However, it is very lanky and tall and needs staking.
The latter is difficult here, since it grows to six feet (or more) in height in our garden.

This is a very weak monkshood, unable to hold itself up without some sort of support. That's a deal-breaker in my garden.
