    This aster is the very last plant to bloom in my zone 5 garden. It continues to bloom till a hard freeze and is much loved by the bees.
    Very tall, sometimes over six feet, and needs no staking.
    Multiplies nicely but is not a thug.
    In China the root is used medicinally.
