There were four or so small tubers attached to the plant still with it's sprouting Dixie cup attached. Preparing it for winter storage in the garage this year, watching the temps with a Govee temperature sensor. |

When the plants reach a height of 30 cm, soil should be added to the base of the plants to encourage the development of tuberous roots. After about twelve weeks, dahlias will bloom for 4-6 weeks. |
