    An orange lily 'Enchantment' was the first lily to gain a plant patent and is considered by some to be among the finest hybrids ever introduced. I believe this Asiatic was one of the early uprights known as mid-century hybrids developed by Jan de Graaff, Earl Hornback, and Harold Comber.
