Noted by Antique Rose Emporium:
"Believed by some authorities to be a cross between China and multifora, ‘Fellenberg’ is now taking its place as one of the very few red Noisettes. It is very free flowering, with clusters of loose, rosy scarlet blooms. Healthy foliage decorates a plant of spreading habit and it is best used as a shrub or container rose. The autumn color is especially good, as the rose blooms take on a scarlet hue."
