Purest pink of unusual beauty and clarity with a bright tangerine throat . Caused quite a fervor when it was introduced, but did not last long as 'Country Club' has thin, yellow-green foliage and was quickly surpassed by southern-bred pinks. It is still a magnificent pink, if you can just play down the foliage with carefully selected companion plants!
