Rose and Arrangement Show
The Rose and Arrangement Show on November 15 will feature hundreds of roses in the juried show at the Mesa Community College (MCC) Student Center, as well as planting and pruning talks by rosarians in the MCC Rose Demonstration Garden. This AARS Official Test Garden is located at Dobson and Southern Roads in Mesa. Anyone is welcome to exhibit roses, starting at 6 a.m. The free show is open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m.

Favorite or New Plant

Cherry Parfait
This AARS winner looks and sounds good enough to eat. Its foliage provides a dark green backdrop for the eye-catching, two-toned petals. Handsome blooms are 3-1/2 to 4 inches in size, with 35 to 40 petals. Cherry Parfait performed admirably in a local test garden and is a much anticipated addition to desert rose gardens.
