Visit the Web site of the University of California LA County Cooperative Extension for monthly gardening tips and discussions about gardening in Southern California. Master Gardeners at LA County Fair
Chat about your garden with the University of California Master Gardeners at the LA County Fair on September 11-12, 18-19, and 25-26 in the Flower and Garden Building. On September 19, master gardeners will talk about their specialties: 11 a.m. - Starting a Community Garden; noon - Mulching; 1 p.m. - Propagation; 2 p.m. - Composting; 3 p.m. - Companion Planting; 4 p.m. - Container Gardening; 5 p.m. - Herb Gardening; and 6 p.m. - Edible Flower Gardening.
