Pruning Methods
Need help with rose pruning? No, I'm not talking about someone who'll come out and prune your roses for you. Instead, here's the next best thing -- a couple of good Web sites to help get you up to speed on the basics of pruning the most common types of roses:

Favorite or New Plant

Need a plant that will do well spilling over the sides of a container or growing as a ground cover in sunny areas, and that offers culinary benefits as well? Oregano can fill the bill. It makes a great ornamental ground cover and does very well in sunny areas that tend to dry out a bit. The leaves are a staple in seasoning tomato-based sauces as well as for seasoning soups, seafood, and grilled meats. This herb, along with its close cousin, marjoram, has been named the 2005 Herb of the Year.
