Clever Gardening Technique

Add Sulfur to Lawn Fertilizer
Add sulfur to lawn fertilizer to control fungus disease. The head gardener at Sunset Magazine, Ricky Lafrentz, uses this technique when he fertilizes the beautiful bent grass lawn in the early spring. The sulfur will not kill fungus spores, however it will prevent the next generation of fairy ring and dollar spot fungi from germinating. Clever fellow, that Ricky.
