Clever Gardening Technique

Seedling ID
When wildflower seeds germinate, it can be difficult to distinguish them from weed seedlings if you don't know what to look for. At the same time you sow wildflowers in your landscape, sow a couple of seeds for each species in a separate labeled pot. As they germinate, they can be your guide and help you keep ahead of the weed seedlings that can crowd out the wildflowers.
