Coffee Tree
I bought my little coffee tree (Coffea arabica) in a 2-inch pot three years ago. It is now about 3 feet tall with many long, trailing branches and large, glossy, dark green leaves. I have kept it in a variety of locations, including an east-facing window (the first year of it's life), a south-facing window (the second year), and its current location downstairs in the open atrium of my office, which is open to the south. It seems happy, and I keep expecting it to bloom any time. The flowers form along the upper side of the branches, all along the entire length.
