Real Gardens for Real People
Take a self-guided tour and enjoy five landscapes designed and maintained by University of Arizona Maricopa County Master Gardeners in the north Scottsdale/Cave Creek area on Saturday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Master Gardeners will be on hand at all locations to answer questions and give talks. The tour brochure includes plant lists for each location. In addition, a school garden is included in the tour, where various booths and boutiques will feature garden-related items for sale. Feed the Birds (With Insects)
Don't spray pesticides. Allow birds to provide pest control for you. For many bird species, including hummingbirds, insects make up a good portion of their diet, especially when feeding their young.
