All-America Rose Selections
When you have to let your fingers do the walking, here's a great place to learn more about roses suitable for your garden: the All-America Rose Selections Web site. You'll find photos and fact sheets about current and past winners, tips for planting and growing roses, sources of plants, and more.

Clever Gardening Technique

Selective Pinching
Many late-summer bloomers can be pinched now for shorter, bushier growth and more flowers. You can even pinch some of the plants and not others to extend the bloom time because the pinched plants will flower a bit later than unpinched ones. Or try pinching the flowers around the outside of the plant and leaving the center flowers unpinched to get a more rounded dome when in bloom.
