Favorite or New Plant

"Sorbet" Violas
Violas are among the most versatile garden flowers. They do well in a container or garden bed. There are so many great series and varieties to choose from. My personal favorite is the Sorbet series, which includes over a dozen varieties and mixes such as 'Blueberry Cream Sorbet' and 'Lemon Chiffon Sorbet'. Give them a full-sun to part-shade location and a soil with a couple of inches of compost mixed in prior to planting. Fertilize lightly every six weeks to keep them vigorous and productive all winter.
