Rare and Endangered Plant Highlight
The Rare and Endangered Plant Highlight page of the United States Botanic Garden Web site features one plant weekly (looks more like monthly) that's identified as a threatened species from the USBG collection. The current highlighted plant, White-Birds-in-a-Nest (Macbridea alba) is found in the Gulf coastal lowlands near the mouth of the Apalachicola River in the Florida Panhandle. There's also a link to a list of rare and endangered plants, as well as links to information about plant rescue, plant conservation, and plant conservation training.
