Blue Yucca
The blue coloration of Yucca rigida provides soothing shade in a desert landscape. This yucca's attractive shape and 2-foot-tall flower stalks also create a dramatic accent. Stiff leaves brandish sharp tips, thus it is essential to allow sufficient planting space, up to 12 feet high and 5 feet wide. This Chihuahuan desert native thrives in full sun, is extremely drought tolerant and cold hardy to 10 degrees F.
