Great Gardens and Landscaping Symposium
New England gardeners won't want to miss the fifth annual Great Gardens and Landscaping Symposium on April 4th and 5th at the Equinox Resort in Manchester, Vermont. Featuring nationally known speakers, exhibitor's displays, and time to swap ideas with fellow gardeners, it promises to energize us all for the 2008 gardening year. Speakers include author and former TV show host Tara Dillard; Shepherd Ogden, executive director of Safe Lawns Foundation; Mardell Steinkamp from Sunny Border Nurseries in Connecticut; Kerry Mendez of Perennially Yours in Ballston Spa, New York; and designer Kelly Sweeney of Hillock Hill Farm Greenhouse in Waltham, Vermont. The event begins with a Friday night reception and opening lecture and continues with five seminars on Saturday. Special hotel packages are available.
