Holland Bulbs
For an early burst of spring bulb splendor, virtually tour Holland's Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse. The slide show and photo galery (sic) are enticing enough to send you looking for your passport.

Another site worth a visit is the Treasury of Historical Bulbs This Hortus Bulborum, established in 1928 in Limmen, is the only museum garden in the world with more than 3,500 different historical tulip, hyacinth, daffodil, crocus, and fritillaria varieties in spring bloom.

Jazz It Up at the Philadelphia Flower Show
From March 2 through 9, the Philadelphia Flower Show will be at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, 12th & Arch Streets, in Philadelphia. Presented by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, this year's show is inspired by the flora, music, and culture of New Orleans. Besides exhibits reflecting NOLA's Garden District, French Quarter, backwoods and bayous, the Big Easy's Big Sam's Funky Nation and local jazz musicians will perform throughout the week.
