Gardening for Birds
Desert Bird Gardening is a handy booklet listing native plants that provide food or shelter for birds. It includes photos of native birds with information on their particular eating habits. Comparative charts help you choose plants or nectar, fruit or seeds, plan for year-round color, and determine a bird's seasonal status in the area. Published by the Arizona Native Plant Society and the Tucson Audubon Society, the booklet is available at nurseries, botanical garden gift shops, and bookstores.
