Clever Gardening Technique

Hand-Pick Japanese Beetles in Cool Temperatures
Adult Japanese beetles are sluggish in the cool, early-morning hours and only become active as the sun becomes stronger. As evening cools, they slow down again. So visit your garden in the cool of the morning or late evening with a can of soapy water and knock the beetles into it.
