Clever Gardening Technique

Homemade Remedy for Weeds
You can attack weeds with a direct stream of vinegar (5 to 10 percent acidity) mixed with a few drops of liquid dish soap. Apply to the weed's foliage in the heat of the day. Be careful not to spray your desirable plants, so cover them with newspaper for protection. This remedy works well for weed seedlings growing in brick or stone pathways and gravel-covered areas. Do not apply to your lawn as this will kill the grass, too.
