Goldenrod 'Fireworks'
It's the season for hay fever, but don't blame goldenrod. Though the bold yellow blooms of this native plant catch everyone's attention, the real culprit is ragweed. So, don't be afraid to add this sensational plant to the garden, especially the cultivar 'Fireworks,' which has been picked as the top-rated Solidago rugosa in trials around the country. Resistant to disease and easy to grow, 'Fireworks' will astound you with foot-long flower spikes that explode with color over a three-foot tall clump of healthy green foliage.
