Autumn Plant Extravaganza
Fall is the best time for planting in the desert and the Council of Albuquerque Garden Clubs will sell hard-to-find trees, shrubs and home-dug perennials at its Autumn Plant Extravaganza. The event takes place at the Albuquerque Garden Center on September 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Orders for trees and shrubs will be taken and delivered to the same location on September 25. Seminars on tree selection and planting will be offered, and vendors will sell a variety of other plants, including daylilies. . Admission and parking is free.
