Clever Gardening Technique

Easy Mealy Bug Cure
If you see mealy bug (white, cottony material near the leaf joints) on any of your favorite indoor plants, use regular rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab for control. Pour a little alcohol into a container and dab each cluster of mealy bug insects with the soaked swab. They will disintegrate before your very eyes! Be vigilant, treating every few weeks until all indication of mealy bug infestation is gone. The alcohol will not harm most plants. Common indoor plants that are susceptible to mealy bug are; Christmas cactus, spider plant, African violet and aglaonema.
