Green Scene Plant Sale
On Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17, 10am-4pm, Fullerton Arboretum will hold its annual spring garden sale featuring more than 80 vendors, unique plants, vegetables, garden art, and accessories. Master Gardeners and members of local plant societies will offer expert advice on gardening and plant cultivation. Also offered will be presentations on composting, water conservation, organic gardening and sustainability, as well as the Second Annual "We CAN Garden" community garden exhibit and Bug Safari and other Children's Garden activities. Clever Gardening Technique

Transplanting Help
An old fork or spoon will separate and lift seedlings gently from flats, and the handle (or a pencil or ice cream stick) can be used to ease transplants from individual growing pockets in segmented flats -- all with very little damage to the tender roots.
