Attracting Wildlife
Kris Wetherbee has come up with the ultimate urban wildlife sanctuary. In her beautifully illustrated book, Attracting Birds, Butterflies and Other Winged Wonders to Your Backyard (Sterling Publishing), she provides tips and techniques for attracting butterflies, hummingbirds, moths, dragonflies, ladybugs, and all manner of songbirds into your garden. Included are plans for unique birdhouses, planting wetlands, and a plant list that details the insects and birds that each particular plant attracts. This is a very useful book for the amateur naturalist. 175 pages, color photographs, illustrations and building plans.
